Device Management
View your devices
You can view the list of devices assigned to your customer account from your Astrocast Dashboard.
- Go to the Astrocast Portal.
- Click on
Devices
in the sidebar. - In order to view details of the individual devices, click on on the right of the device. You can find device properties like name, GUID, etc., and manufacturing details appearing on a floating panel.
Edit a device
In order to edit a particular device's properties:
- Go to the Astrocast Portal.
- Click on
Devices
in the sidebar. - Click on on the right and select
Edit properties
. - You can change any of the following properties:
Name
,Description
,Device group
andLocation
(if the device is fixed or stationary). - Click on
Update
.
Device States
State | Description |
---|---|
Registered | The device is registered on our platform and ready to be used. When the device sends its first message, it will automatically be activated. |
Active | The device is active. A monthly subscription fee applies. |
Suspended | The device is suspended. A monthly maintenance fee applies. If the device sends a message, it will automatically be re-activated. |
Terminated | The device is retired and no longer used. No monthly fee applies. |
Export to CSV
- Go to the Astrocast Portal.
- Click on
Devices
in the sidebar. - Use the filters to refine the list of devices.
- Click on

to export the list of devices to a CSV file. - Save the file
