Downlink Commands

The Astrocast IoT Network supports downlink commands that lets you send data to your remote assets.

Create a command

In order to create a new downlink command,

1. Go to the Astrocast Portal.
2. Click on Commands in the sidebar.
3. Click on ➕ Create Command to create a new command.
4. Select the device, set an expiration date, add a reference and the data to be sent.
5. Click on Create.

Read command details

In order to view details of a particular downlink command,

1. Go to the Astrocast Portal.
2. Click on Commands in the sidebar.
3. Click on on the right side of a command to read the details of that command.
4. In order to export all messages along with its details into a .csv file, click on above the Column headers.

Cancel a command

In order to cancel a command,

1. Go to the Astrocast Portal.
2. Click on Commands in the sidebar.
3. Click on ❌ next to a command to cancel that command.
4. Click on Confirm.
